1. About these terms
This website is operated by Cerwin Vega Australia ("we", "us", "our"), the Australian distributor for Cerwin Vega. By browsing, accessing, using or transacting on this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
We may change these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Please check them periodically — continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
2. Eligibility
By using this site you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Your account
You may create an account to place orders and track them. If you do:
- Provide accurate registration details and keep them current
- Keep your login credentials secure
- You are responsible for activity on your account
- Tell us immediately at enquiries@cerwinvega.com.au if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation
4. Car audio
Cerwin Vega car audio can be purchased on this website or from authorised Australian stockists.
Prices shown against car audio products on this website are recommended retail prices. Stockists set their own retail prices independently and are not bound by any price shown on this site.
Where you buy car audio from this website, your contract is with us and these terms apply in full. Where you buy car audio from a stockist, your contract is with that stockist, who is the supplier for Australian Consumer Law purposes - including for returns and consumer guarantee claims.
5. Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Prices may change without notice. We take care to ensure prices are accurate, but errors occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We are not obliged to supply at an incorrect price. Where we cancel for this reason, you are refunded in full and owe us nothing.
6. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order and dispatch the goods.
We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, a pricing or description error has occurred, we cannot deliver to your address, or we reasonably suspect fraud. Where we decline an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.
We may request identification before dispatching high-value goods.
7. Stock
Stock levels shown are indicative. Where an item is unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer a refund, a substitute, or the option to wait.
8. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Title passes to you on full payment. Risk passes on delivery.
Authority to leave
At checkout you may authorise us to leave a parcel at your address without a signature. If you do, the parcel is deemed delivered when left, and we are not responsible for loss or theft after that point.
Authority to leave is not available on freight or palletised consignments. Those require someone present to accept and sign.
9. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where any term of this agreement conflicts with that law, the law prevails and that term does not apply.

10. Our liability
Subject always to clause 9, and to the extent permitted by law:
- Our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to replacing the goods, repairing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the price paid
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data
- Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the goods giving rise to the claim
We are not liable for loss or damage arising from installation not carried out by a qualified installer, operation of a product outside its rated specification, or modification of a product.
11. Using this website
You agree not to:
- Access the site other than through the interface we provide
- Interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers or its security features
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
We take reasonable care to ensure information on this site is accurate and complete, but do not warrant that it is free from errors or omissions. We may correct information we consider incorrect or misleading. Specifications are provided by the manufacturer and may change.
Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity may be referred to law enforcement.
12. Third party links
This site may link to other websites. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or services.
13. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the Cerwin Vega name and logo, images, product descriptions, text, graphics and their arrangement — is owned by or licensed to us, or owned by the brand owner.
You may view this content and print or save a copy for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all copyright notices intact. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit any of it without our written consent.
Other product and company names mentioned on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose your personal information. It forms part of these terms.
15. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales
- If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues in force
- You may not transfer or assign your rights under these terms. We may assign ours
- A failure by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it
